Telematics Award

Over the past several weeks, in addition to attending the Telematics Detroit event and winning the award for Best Aftermarket Device, Azentek also had a major presence at “Automotive Dealer Day” in Verona, Italy and the “Automotive News Seminar” in Los Angeles, CA.

Automotive Dealer DayAzentek was a major hit at Automotive Dealer Day, showcasing features of the Car PC line and how it can integrate with over 200 million vehicles on the road today.   Held for its 5th year in Verona, Italy, Automotive Dealer Day is a major hub of information, strategies and tools for automotive sales on a global scale. The innovative format of Automotive Dealer Day features speakers from all around the world discussing a broad range of fascinating topics pertaining to products and services that focus on the business of automotive sales and service.  Additionally, the event features a forum for meeting and networking with dealers, authorized and independent repairers, managers of car manufacturers, products and service suppliers for dealers, and more.

EcojetMore than 1,000 people were in attendance at the Automotive News Marketing Seminar in Los Angeles last week.  In addition to the many senior-level automotive industry executives present at the event, individuals working in publishing, television, newspapers, outdoor advertising, and radio broadcasting filled the room for networking and discussions.  Azentek and Microsoft were present and featured Jay Leno’s ECOJET, the only vehicle on display at the event.

Ecojet InteriorThis 650-horsepower (400 lb.-ft. of torque) Leno original is powered by a Honeywell LT-101 turbine engine that runs on bio-diesel fuel. The engine sits in a modified Corvette Z06 hydro formed aluminum frame with aluminum and magnesium structural and chassis components. The vehicle's shell is an advanced construction of carbon fiber over Kevlar. The ECOJET interior features Azentek’s latest Car PC, the Atlas CPC-1000, providing complete real-time vehicle telematics.

At an MSRP of $2,799, Azentek’s Atlas CPC-1000 is built on Intel™ architecture with a Core Duo processor running the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system and features a very long list of computing and entertainment capabilities including voice recognition, CANbus integration, Bluetooth, AM/FM/Satellite Radio, HD Radio, CDRW/DVD/MP3/WMA, GPS navigation, built-in WiFi, and much more!
