Las Vegas, NV, January 7, 2007 – Azentek™, the leading innovator of in-car computing technology, is ready to take the 2008 CES by storm! With a full line of highly anticipated products ready to begin shipping in 2008, a new sales rep force, and many hot items in store for CES 2008, Azentek is poised to be the hit of the North Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center.“We are very excited about the new product line and can comfortably say that our in-car computers are unlike anything else on the market today” commented Johnny Cooper, President & CEO of Azentek. “To commemorate our product launch, we have partnered with Microsoft and Jay Leno’s ‘Big Dog Garage’ to design the interior and multimedia infotainment system inside the ECOJET – which we will have on display in our booth.” Generating 650 horsepower from a Honeywell LT-101 jet engine, the ECOJET is the world’s first eco-friendly biodiesel jet-powered car. A concept dreamed up by Jay Leno and his chief mechanic, Bernard Juchli, the ECOJET was built with the assistance of General Motors and a number of partners, including Azentek. “With the new line of products beginning to ship early this year, it was essential for us to hire proper sales representation for each local market” added Derek Prentice, Partnership Development Director for Azentek. “We have already finalized our agreements with Dave Gill and SMS Marketing in the Midwest, John Holland and Hoco in the Southeast, Dennis Hopper and The Florida Marketing Group for the state of Florida, Phil Chartier and Roberts Associates for New England and the Northeast, Jack Curran and Leisure Time Marketing in Southern California, Sierra Select in Northern California, and Scott Edwards with IMS Reps for the mid-Atlantic states.” Additionally, Azentek will be showing high-fidelity lossless audio content courtesy of MusicGiants, the leader in high-definition downloads. Through its exclusive Music Concierge Collections, MusicGiants allows for customers to have any Azentek system installed in their car, pre-loaded with their favorite HD music and ready to take on the road. "Our relationship with Azentek is proof positive that MusicGiants is arriving as the go-to service for hardware manufacturers and end users who are looking for uncompromised, high-quality sound to bring their cutting-edge car audio systems alive," says Scott Bahneman, CEO of MusicGiants. "We are pleased to announce this partnership and we look forward to the momentum behind our service as it continues to build." “While showing all of these new features at the show, I believe our new voice recognition software engine will be one of the biggest hits” mentioned Pete Muller, Marketing Manager for Azentek. “With extremely accurate voice recognition that allows you to completely interact with your Azentek system, you can have full control over your device without ever taking your hands off the wheel.” Azentek has closely partnered with Andrea Electronics, manufacturers of the highest-quality automotive-grade microphones available today. “We believe the Andrea microphones are a must-have in order to take full advantage of our advanced voice recognition features” added Derek Prentice. “With their many years of experience in the high-end microphone and voice recognition field, it was an easy choice for us to partner with them.” With Rick Wagoner, President & CEO of General Motors, being the first-ever “automotive” keynote speaker at the Consumer Electronics Show, Azentek is excited to be involved with General Motors on a number of projects and anticipates a possible visit from Wagoner himself in the Azentek booth.
