Grand Blanc, MI -- Azentek, LLC. in collaboration with Microsoft TM, General MotorsTM and IntelTM announced the release of the new Atlas™ CPC-1000 series in-vehicle computer system at this years Specialty Equipment Manufactures Association (SEMA) October 31st – November 3rd. The product incorporates Azentek’s heritage of mobile computing,(including the FordLink™ semi-ruggedized PC) it also marks a new frontier for Azentek with the launch of the first generation of true in-vehicle computing, utilizing an OEM grade radio replacement system for both the US and international markets. The consumer market has expanded and requires people to be more productive while on the go. Azentek has responded by offering the new Atlas™ CPC-1000. The Atlas CPC-1000 empowers consumers by connecting them to the world, utilizing the iMobile Software Suite. The new Atlas is a fully functional computer running the new Microsoft Windows Vista™ operating system. With built-in WiFi & cellular connectivity option, along with BluetoothTM, the Atlas CPC-1000 allows for mobile access to the internet and other devices anytime and anywhere. The Atlas allows consumers to spend their day more efficiently while on the road for business, navigation or entertainment. The Atlas CPC-1000 provides a 6.5” touch screen to access in-vehicle features like turn-by-turn GPS Navigation, DVD video playback, AM/FM/MP3/CD playback, the option of a satellite radio module from either XM or Sirius, and even HD Radio capability. The Atlas is capable of providing the driver with navigation, while displaying entertainment to other screens within the vehicle, all at the same time. The Atlas CPC-1000 is designed to make information and entertainment available at your fingertips. Like all Azentek products, the Atlas CPC-1000 is exceptionally durable, easy to use and is a very competitively priced system. Azentek not only built the Atlas to meet automotive standards, but sets a new level of performance by incorporating the full Microsoft Windows Vista™ operating system.
