intel core 2 good cpu choice...
CF as frontend instead of own "crap" - good choice.

Results in 2:0 for Azentek vs Infill

Speeding up the boot with a special bios
Do you have a remote-centrallock for your car ? Why not booting the PC (with switched off screen) if the car is unlocked ?

RDS ? You don't know how to handle it ? -> Ask me.
Traffic Jams via TMC (TMC is inside RDS) - you don't have a clue how to get it into Destinator/Centrafuse and solutions from GNS Gmbh are much too expensive -> Ask me.

Your GPS is a dead-reckoning (Gyro+Speedpulse) system ?

3. GPS Features, will they work in Hawaii also? and does the unit support VSS Wire (So it can tell how fast your going)

4. I run a online store, are you going to allow people to resell this? is so, where can i sign up / register our company?

That is correct!

$2500 ballpark

Yes, it will work in Hawaii. The unit CAN tell how fast you are going but it does not use a VSS wire. GPS Technology has progressed beyond the need for a VSS and is very accurate using the satellite signal by itself.

4. I run a online store, are you going to allow people to resell this? is so, where can i sign up / register our company?

I regret to inform you that at this time we are only interested in signing up new dealers that have a true storefront. Our online sales policy will only allow for the "authorized online sales" from one or two select major e-tailers which we are already in discussions with.

I will be ordering this as soon as I can. Right now i have pioneer's top of the line in dash navi and its been great, however i have always wanted what you all are selling..

Aloha! Thanks for the support and if there is anything else we can help you with, just let us know!

Wow, this is exactly what I need for my car. I'm going to get one as soon as it comes out, or if you need a beta tester...

I do want to hear more about what was done to minimize the effects of vibration and to stabilize the electric supply.

Paul, CarPCs, as a hobby, have been around for a while, including much work on power supplies. Check out the forums at http://www.mp3car.com for TONS of info about car PCs. The coming Atlas product sure does look like it will be top of the line!

Hi,

I'm interested in purchasing this unit for a Pontiac G8 GXP I will soon be getting. My question is will this unit also control the intergrated climate control system? All of the current ownwers of G8's and soon to be owner's of the G8 would love to know if this unit will provide the climate control information.

Ok im new to this board and this is the question I was going to ask, I have a 2008 G8 GT and before I go ripping out the dash to have a completely custom system installed I am very interested in your head unit. Hundreds of of G8 owners of the many G8 fourms are waiting on your system to see if it intergrates with the climate control system. A responce would be great since you had a video up with the head unit in a G8. Thanks
